He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cullen Cecil Bivins and Lois Naomi Zook Bivins; his wife Bonnie Fay Portwood Bivins; his sisters, Betty Scott and Juanita Walker; and his children, Georgenia Hood, Carolyn Smith, Paul Bivins Jr., Donna Demko, Debbie Gallagher and Joseph Bivins. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
