She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Edward House and Lona Claudine House (Turner); her spouse Dale L. Melton; her granddaughter Christina Lynn Melton; and her brother Vernon E. House.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred "Pud" Webb (Donnie McDaniel), Ronnie Melton (Patrice) and Donnie Melton (Teresa); her sisters-in-law, Paqui House of Goose Creek and Norma Robbins of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Amanda Walker, Mark Webb, Ronnie Dale Melton, Kevin Webb, Lindsay Barnhouse, Rebecca Nicholson, Alicia Melton, Morgan Noblitt and Ryan Melton; and her pet Razor. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the New Hope Upkeep Fund.
