He is survived by: his father Donald "Pappy" Laurance; his sisters, Linda Minear (John) of Livonia and Diana Young (David) of Casey, Iowa; his close friend Susan Long of Buffalo, Missouri; his nieces, Jackie Roy (Joe) of Springfield, Julie Minear of Springfield, MO, Amanda Roof (Neil) of Avoca and Ashley Jacobson (Scott) of Ankeny; his nephew Joshua Young (Brenda) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his great-nephews, Brady, Justin Roy, Braden and Brantley Young; his great-niece Chloe Jacobson; and his aunts and uncles, Atha Johnson of Cedar Rapids, Nola Brown of Anita, Kenneth Ward (Judy) of Mesquite, Richard Ward (Janie) of Anita and Barb Ward of Grant, Iowa.
