It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie M. Martin (Buffalo, Missouri), who passed away on February 6, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Nimmo and Leona Nimmo (Bennett); her husband Harold Gene "Doc" Powell; and her sisters, Phyllis Sharp and Helen Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, Susie (Ronnie Bradley) of Buffalo, MO, Larry (Ann Powell) of Republic, MO and Randy (Lesa Powell) of Buffalo, MO; and her brother-in-law Buddy Armstrong of Brookline, MO.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers; one sister.

Her parents moved to a farm near Charity, Missouri when she was ten years old. She attended grade school at Boyd Elementary and graduated from Charity High School in 1941.
