With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Ellis Thomas (Buffalo, Missouri), who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Thomas and Alice Thomas (Lamun); his wife Donna Smith; his son David Jones; his grandson Shane; and his brother-in-law George Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Jones (Shirley) of Grain Valley, Missouri, Vickie Dugan (Darrell) of Phillipsburg, Patti Allen (Ralph) of Council Bluffs and Rebecca Imes (John) of Merriam Woods, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Tami Jones; his siblings, Lynn Thomas of Buffalo, Missouri and Sharon Adams of Columbia, Missouri; his nephews, Mike Adams of Kansas City and Phil Adams of O'Fallon, Missouri; his cousin Larry Byrd of Independence, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Brian, Jeff, Timmy, James, Charles, Kyle, Katie, Jeremy, Holly, Matthew, Ben, Brittany and Dylan. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Lindley Cemetery Fund.
