He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Orvis and Bennie Webb Orvis; his wife Cheryl Judy; his granddaughter Cassandra McFadden; and his great grandchild Elias.

He is survived by: his children, Lorri Scofield of Buffalo and Olivia McFadden (Cashe) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Andreanna Watterson (Danny), Nathan Wade, Brantly Scott, Harley McFadden, Cody McFadden (Nikki), Breanna Spinden and Tyler McFadden; his great grandchildren, Mason, Donovan, Brayden, Clarissa, Jazlin, Jessie, Klowee, Evan and Layla; and his siblings, James Orvis, Mary Bull, Maggie and Bessie. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
