John Lightwine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Lightwine (Buffalo, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lightwine and Faye Lightwine (Nicholas); and his sister Teresa Smith. He is survived by: his children, Scott Lightwine, Amy and Josh Dukewits (Becky Conine); his grandchildren, Myla and Mason; his stepchildren, Zac Johnson and Bree Johnson-Jones; his stepgrandson Bradley Jones; his sisters, Alice Himelhan, Glenda Whipple (Keith) and Rayma June Haynes; and his pet Sterling. He is also survived by many friends, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home - Buffalo (931 W Main St, Buffalo, MO 65622). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Riverview Sweaney Cemetery (34 Riverview Rd, Long Lane, MO 65590).
