He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Col. Kelsey O. and Helen Wynns (Hopperstead); his wife Janis Diane Siepert Wynns; his son Jason (Janet) of Garland; his granddaughter Kori Wynns; his daughter Jennifer Taylor (Josh); his grandsons, Chandler Brattin, Bryce Brattin, Blake Brattin of Exeter, Jace Taylor, Jayden Taylor and Jesse Taylor of Buffalo, Missouri; his sisters, Kay Hanley (David Hanley) of Lindale, Texas and Karol Crow (Wynns) of Austin; his brother-in-law Garon Crow of Austin, Texas.; and his uncle Jim Carr of Grand Rapids. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Exeter Volunteer Fire Department in Kirk's name would be appreciated.
