She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Hook and Florence Hook; her husband Robert Kennedy; and her sister-in-law Jeanie Kennedy (Jean). She is survived by: her children, Jeanie Keith of Austin, Roberta Roberson of Buffalo, Barbara and John Kennedy, Sr. of Halfway. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
