He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille; his brothers, Dolan, Glenn E. and Don; his son-in-law Larry Weaver Jr; and his great grandchildren, Aaron Weaver IV and Thomas Marie Pyatt.

He is survived by: his children, Floyd McCurry and Barbara Weaver Pyatt; his grandchildren, Aaron Weaver (Haley), Shiloh Weaver, Judd Pyatt (Laura), Ben Pyatt (LeAnn) and Alisha Pyatt; his great grandchildren, Paxton, Paylin, Anson, Leeson, Graeson, Edison, Lincoln, Lilly, Sydney and Andrew; and also Nora McCurry.

In lieu of flowers the family asked for donations to be made to the Gideon International.
