She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel Kahler and Elma Wilson Kahler; her husband Lawrence Garrett; her granddaughter Joni Brownfield; her great grandchild Reagan Brownfield; her sister Cecil Cheek; her nephew Joe Cuoco; and her brother Little Wayne Kahler.

She is survived by: her children, Anita (Scott Sunday), Jack Brownfield of Lees Summit, MO, Bobbi Fee of St Louis, MO, Bonnie (Dennis Bandel) and Tim (Sherry Brownfield); and her grandchildren, Jared, Amy, Josh, Whitney, Lauren, Charlie, Mike, Jamie, Jeremy, Nathan, Derek and Logan.
