He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Young and Jessie Birdella Young (Howe); and his wife Amy Schneider. He is survived by: his children, John (Sharon Young) of Highland, IL, Amy (Robert Sharp) of Brighton, MO and Susan (Gary Chapman) of Worden, IL; and his grandchildren, Steven Young, Rebecca (Rick Temple), Sarah (Joshua Appleby), Angela Chapman and Thomas (Angela Chapman). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
