It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy June Vogels of Buffalo, Missouri, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. B. Sweaney and Gona Sweaney of Buffalo, MO.; her former husband Lee Maddux (Charles "Chuck" Vogels); her son Russell Vogels; her brother Orlif; and her sister-in-law Ann Sweaney.
She is survived by: her husband Chuck Vogels; her daughter Rev. Jennifer Long (Tim) of Buffalo Mo; and her granddaughter Meagan Long Hicks (Lee) of Elkland. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Christian Church or New Hope Cemetery.
