He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Allen Potter and Pearl Gordan Potter; his wife Dollie Arlene Wadsworth; his sons, Ben Allen and Danny Gilbert; and his sister Mildred.
He is survived by: his children, Della Jane, Deana Lee and Donald Lester; his sister Reva Lee; and his grandchildren, Lloyd Gene, Danita Joyce, Duane Lee, Jennifer Michelle and Jason Allen. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
