James Elmore Melton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Elmore Melton (Bucyrus, Missouri), who passed away on July 18, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Melton and Lora Mae Melton (Perkins). He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Harriott of Kansas City, MO., Linda King (Robert) of Kansas City, MO. and James Lee Melton (Cheryl) of Kansas City, MO.; and his niece Marsha Shearrer (Ralph). He is also survived by two children; six grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, sisters, and brothers-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Houston House, the American Heart Association, or the Children's Mercy Hospital of Kansas City.
