He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayford Lamar and Icle Brown; his wife Beverly Joyce; his daughter Valerie Stevens; his son-in-law Robert Stevens; his brother Donald Brown; and his great great grandchild Richard Alan Ray Hummel.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Brison (David) and Ron (Jo Ellen); his grandchildren, Todd Brison (Chrissy), Shawn Brison (Tasha) and Tiffany Stoff Stefanie Gray (Sean); his siblings, Gary Brown (Pat) and Beverly Brown; his great grandchildren, Colton Brown, Mickala Hummel (Christian), Tyler Brison, Salem Gray, Jordan Gray, Bailey Gray, Shelby Stoff, Sean Stoff Jr., Haley Brison, Alex Stuart (Miranda), Alexis Stuart and James Wilson; and his great great grandchild Adalyne Herrera.
