She was predeceased by: her parent Shirley Griggs Morris; her stepmother Judy Morris; and her brother Dale Morris. She is survived by: her father Eugene Morris; her close friend Sylvester Jordan; her children, William Dean Cox of Kansas City, Shawna Lee Cox of Marshall and Jesse James Cox of Kansas City; her siblings, Mark Morris of Trimble and Gale Arms of Columbia; and her stepsisters, Shelly Cox-Manley of Excelsior Springs and Norma Meredith of Excelsior Springs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
