He was predeceased by: his parents, Desmond Johnson and Pocahontas Johnson (Winn); and his siblings, James Johnson Sr., Wendell Johnson, Shirley Burton and Elizabeth Winn.
He is survived by: his children, Yolonda Johnson of Kansas City, KS and Cedrick Johnson (Joya Harris-Johnson) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Zavion Winn of Lee's Summit, MO and Essence Johnson of Kansas City, MO; and his brother Herman Johnson of Brunswick, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Breshears Memorial Chapels - Brunswick (207 W Broadway St, Brunswick, MO 65236). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
