Denzil Theodore Utterback Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 92, Denzil Theodore Utterback (Brunswick, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Denzil Theodore may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Denzil Theodore touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Utterback and Gertrude Utterback (Sparks); and his wife Norma Lee Lybarger. He is survived by: his children, Denise Stanfield of Mt. Airy, NC and David Utterback of Lyman, SC; his grandchildren, Stephanie Totten (Don) of Danville, VA, Cyndi Mack (Sean) of Fredericksburg, VA and Daniel Utterback (Kameron) of Reidsville, NC; and his friend Teresa Brickell. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Breshears Memorial Chapels - Brunswick (207 W Broadway St, Brunswick, MO 65236). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) or McCullough Cemetery.
