He is survived by: his wife Kay Eakins (Rowland); and his children, Penny Stoneman (Kevin), Carolyn Kays (Kenny), Stephen Travis Eakins (Jennifer) and Josie Iverson (Brad). He is also survived by grandchildren and six wonderful great-grandchildren; one beloved sister and five brothers.
