He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Byrd and Edna Byrd (Brown); and his brothers, Lloyd, Rufus and Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Bilyeu; his sons, Doug Byrd (Shelley) of Brumley, Missouri and Andy Byrd (Amy) of Brumley, Missouri; and his siblings, Alfred Byrd (Linda) of Brumley, Missouri, Edgar Byrd (Erma) of Brumley, Missouri, Claud Byrd (Pat) of Brumley, Missouri, Ruby Otto of Brumley, Roma Bond of Eldon and Peggy McDowell of Bentown, Missouri.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
