He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryant Amos and Naomi Ash (Burton); and his brothers, David, Phillip, Billy and Jody.
He is survived by: his sons, David Amos, Gary Amos (Jeanne) and Anthony Amos; his grandchildren, Shawna Amos, Alicia Kindhart, Gary Amos Jr., William Amos and Joseph Amos; and his siblings, Carol Amos, Sharon Knotts, Diann Prater (Larry), Reta McKee (Jim), Glenda Duncan (Doug) and Terry Wells (David Foreman). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
