She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman "Shorty" Ballenger and Ruby Ballenger (Rodden); her husband Kenneth Larry Ely; and her siblings, Barbara Long and Ted Ballenger.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Witt (Mike) of Iberia; her granddaughters, Casandra McMeekan (Bradley) of Iberia and Hannah Witt of Iberia; her great grandchildren, Dalton McMeekan, Presley McMeekan, Lane McMeekan, Grady McMeekan and Sheridan Clark; her friends, Alice Mitchell and Jim McMorris; and her stepfather Felix Helms.
