He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie E. Phillips and Glennis Chloe Phillips (Shelton); his brothers, Mark Phillips and Lonnie Phillips; and his brother-in-law Dennis Shackleford.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Keeth; his children, Keith Phillips (Kim) of Richland and Kim Whittle (Travis) of Iberia; his grandchildren, Sara Evans (Matt), Lacey Moore (Evan), Jessi Whittle (Mason Schaefer) and Jacob Whittle; his great grandchildren, Lane, Ethan, Cooper Evans, Brooklyn and Braxton Moore; and his siblings, Louie Phillips, Dale Phillips (Rebecca) and Glenda Shackleford. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
