She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Jeffries and Cecil Jeffries; and her siblings, Laverne Jeffries, Donald Gene Jeffries, Tim Jeffries, Louise Thorson, Lucille Hargis, Ruth Hargis-Schumate and Nelda Varner.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Lee Byrd; her children, Sandy Luttrell (Rick) of Brumley, Brenda Kissinger (Bennie) of Iberia and Steve Byrd (Tammy) of Eldon, Missouri; and her siblings, Faye Burks, Jerry Jeffries (Erica), Dennis Jeffries (Gayla) and Lester Jeffries. She is also survived by six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
