He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Davie and Leonard; his wife Carol Claudette Cooksey; his son John Sanders; and his brother Jake Sanders.
He is survived by: his sons, Earl Sanders, Jr. (Melinda) and Chris Sanders (Kellie); his grandchildren, Jake, Michael, Tyler, Abigayle, Cayden Sanders, Miles and Faye McCormick; and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Oliver Sanders.
