He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee and Gladys Shipley (Veazey); and his brother Ernest Lee Shipley Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Shipley, Pam Anderson of Cuba, Shilene Robinett (Aaron) of Brumley, Tonya Turnbough (Jeff) of Cherryville and Sandra Shipley of Iberia; and his siblings, Jean Jardim of California, Sandy Knuold of California, Bobby Shipley (Lucy) of California and Dean Shipley (Patty) of Tennessee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
