He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lantz and Marion Lantz (Schrock); his son James Lantz; and his siblings, Ronald Lantz (Carol) and Julia Heiden.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Wright; his son John Lantz (Julie) of Green City; his sister Maurita Rissler (Jim) of Cole Camp; his stepgrandchildren, Amy Ebarb (Billy) and Chad Hill; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor Musselman, Lexas Ebarb and Makenzie Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
