He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Brantner and Mildred Brantner (Tucker); his brother John Brantner; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Brantner and Roger Bennett (Peggy).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Brantner (Bennett); his children, Rick Brantner (Tracy) of Warrensburg, Trish Parks of Laclede, Marsha McCabe (Billy) of Brookfield, Stephanie Malloy of Chillicothe and Christie Gooch (Chad) of Browning; his grandchildren, Wes Brantner (Brooke), Dusty Parks, Emily Terry (Michael), Bailey Wright (River), Marisa Munoz (Erick), Mallory McCabe, Nicholas Malloy (Houston), Taylor Page and Remington Gooch; his great grandchildren, Cooper Terry, Colt Hill, Elias Munoz, Liam Klamert and Hayzlie Malloy; his brother Jerry Brantner of Davenport, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Cannon of Chillicothe, Missouri, Charles Bennett (Carol) of Excelsior Spring and Larry Bennett (Lisa) of Purdin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jenkins Cemetery.
