He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Thomas and Lula Bell Huff (Lyford); his granddaughter Heather Stanfield; his siblings, Rex Huff, Charles Huff, Linnie Niemeier, Delight Kitchen and Marcia Huff; and his nieces, Donna Jones and Frankie Gardner.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Bonnie Stuart; his children, Pam Kleinhesselink of Brookfield, Dennis Stuart (Melodie) of Millstadt and Gina Schneider (Jim) of Marceline; and his grandchildren, Mandy Stuart, Denne Boykins, Kristen Bourgeois, Jamie Linebaugh and Kasey Schneider. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
