Smelley; her daughters, Sharon Flynn (Larry) of Brookfield and Jennifer Almond (Jason Logan) of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Whitley McKenzie (Ross), Shelby Flynn, Taylor Almond, Coltin Almond and Eric Flynn; her great grandchild Josephine Kay McKenzie; her brothers, Denny Shipers (Bev) of Pattonsburg and Jim Shipers of Bethany; her sister-in-law Margaret Shipers of Pattonsburg; her aunts, Dixie Stasi of Blue Springs and Wanda Donner of Gladstone; her son Matthew James Smelley; her siblings, Wayne "Sonny" Shipers and Peggy Teel Searcy (J. C. Teel); her aunt Donna Savage; and her sister-in-law Beverly Shipers. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
