He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Theodore and Viola Aletha Asher (Thudium); his daughters, Brenda Louise Admire and Melinda Lea Criddle; and his siblings, Donald Asher and Shirley Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Verna M. Stanfield; his daughter Debra Susan Lewis (Terry) of Caledonia, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Rodney Ewing (Patty) of Houston, Rhonda Foreman (Clint) of Houston, Terri Lewis of Caledonia, Todd Lewis (Pam) of Hamilton, Shonda Trahan (Phillip) of Montgomery and Stefanie Warren of Caledonia, Mississippi; and his sons-in-law, Max Admire of Harlingen and TJ Criddle of Caledonia, Mississippi. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren.
