He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Snyder and Ruth Snyder (Shaw); his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Peavler; his brother Raymond Snyder; and his nephew Barry Snyder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Stufflebean (Darryl) of Brookfield, Cathy Snyder of Brookfield, Caren Meeks of Brookfield and Connie Wilson of Marceline; his stepchildren, Tim Hill (Sara) and Jamie Haston (Jeremy); his brother Ronald Snyder (Tressa); his grandchildren, Terri Christensen, Chris Coram, Kyle Coram, Garet Stufflebean, Patrick Stufflebean, Mark Shoengood, Kirsten Bratrude of Andrea Bratrude, R. J, Duff, Clayton Wilson and Ashley Wilson; his stepgrandchildren, Garrett Allen and Emily Allen; his nephews, Brady Snyder and Brent Snyder; and his niece Brenda Allen. He is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.
