She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilmer Simpson and Ruby Simpson (Gardner); her brothers, Darroll and Roger; her son-in-law John Adams; and her grandson Justin Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Amen of New Boston; her children, Chuck Amen (Gracie) of St. Joseph, Missouri and Mary Carol Adams of Brookfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Cory Amen (Amanda), Loni Jo Wood (Jeff) and Heather Richardson (Dave); her great grandchildren, Connor Amen, Madilyn Wood, Logan Wood and Noa Richardson; and her sister Connie Hoffman of Lansing.
