He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lee and Bertha Irene Jones (DeWalt); his great-grandparent Samuel; his wife Virginia Lunsford Jay; his sisters, Ruth Rogers and Shirley Walker; his grandchildren, Jayne Christensen Betts and Dustin Jay; and his great grandchild Alexis Betts.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Celia, Shirley Ann and Doris Louise Bryant; his children, Randall Lee, Robert Lynn, Janet Gayle Jay, William G. Jay, Kenneth Edward Jay and Donna Jean Jones; his grandchildren, Julee Christensen Jenkins (David), Jennifer Jay Salmon, Kenny Bill Jay, Jesse Jones (Courtney), Nicole, Joshua, Caroline Bohney and Bonita Sturgeon; his great grandchildren, Shelby Lawless, Erica Salmon (Tyler Oitker), Arthur Betts, Faythe Salmon Cruse (Conner), Ethan Salmon, Shawn Hill, Kayla Jenkins, Michael Jones and Ava Jones; and his great great grandchildren, Axl, Kane, Aiden, Emmy and Ellie.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (1201 W Helm St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Parklawn Cemetery (23394 US-36, Brookfield, MO 64628).
In lieu of flowers, Casey and his family has asked that donations be made to the South Eagle Methodist Church or the American Legion Post 182.
