It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karol Marie Summers of Brookfield, Missouri, born in Mendon, Missouri, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son James Lee Summers; her parent Rosemary Gladbach (Gucker); her brother Jerry Gladbach; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Witthar and Susie Gladbach; and her parents-in-law, Ted and Ruby Summers.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her children, Gary Wayne Summers (Lisa) of Brookfield, Terry Ray Summers (Tammy) of Brookfield and Karolyn Sue Summers of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Tiffany Lenz (Adam) of Bunceton, Miles Summers (Beth) of Brookfield, Kristin Summers of Liberty and Technical Sargent James Summers; her great grandchildren, Bristol, Rhett Lenz, Hayden, Sydnee Bagley, Jackson and Piper Rulon; her siblings, Mary Ann Witthar of Kansas City, Peggy Walker of Excelsior Springs, Mike Gladbach (Jacque) of Mendon, Kathleen Neal (Jerry) of Smithville and Marcia Still of Marceline; and her sister-in-law Sharon Gladbach of Rothville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
