He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carter and Cora Carter (Coram); his wife Bonnie Zoe Nickell; his siblings, Raymond Carter, Rita Tripp and Roberta Johnson; and his grandson Michael Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Carter of Brookfield, MO and Gianna Booth (Russell) of Branson, MO; his sister-in-law Roanne Nickell; his grandchildren, Shaun Carter (Leticia) and Kevin Carter (Jennifer) of Brookfield, MO; and his great grandchildren, LaNaeya Carter, Shaquelle Carter, Kendrell Carter, Raquel Carter and Camryn Carter. He is also survived by three great-great grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends.
