He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis William and Mary Josephine Hackler (Stevens). He is survived by: his brother Arlan Hackler (Donna) of Knoxville, Iowa; and his nieces, Tara Jackson (James) of Fridley and Tania Minkler (Steve) of Stronghurst, Illinois. He is also survived by three grandnieces and three grandnephews.
