She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Edward Barnett and Lucille Barnett (Aitkins); her husband James Harvey Gordon; and her brothers, Edward Barnett and Francis Lee Barnett.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark Bernard of Brookfield, MO and Joseph Bernard (Katrina). She is also survived by four granddaughters, one grandson, four great granddaughters, five great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
