He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Alva and Blanche Opal Heitz (Seitz); his wife Dorothy Ellen Mayhugh; and his brothers, Don Heitz and Joe Heitz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra L. Heitz, Tammie Keith (Austin) of Columbia, MO, Deborah Wagener (Shaw) of La Canada, CA and Teresa Turner (Jeff) of Louisburg, KS; and his grandchildren, Sophie Wagener, Harrison Wagener, Lucas Turner and Holly Turner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested in his name to the Vernon County Youth Fair, or the Clarksburg Cemetery Association c/o of Ferry Funeral Home.
