He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Kuhl (Isaak) and Herman Kuhl; his spouse Jackie Thomas; his sisters, Kay (Wes Ternoir), Joan (Bill Warren) and Jenny (Dutch Wallin); his son-in-law Mike Busken; and also, Lexi and Zoe Clement.
He is survived by: his children, David Kuhl (Barb) of Champaign, IL, Douglas Kuhl (Sandy) of Troy, MO, Denise Busken of Florissant, MO, Dana Wiele (Norm) of Florissant, MO and Darcy Walsh (John) of St. Charles, MO.; his grandchildren, Brandon Kuhl (Erica), Kelli Harvey (Kenny), Christina Busken, Dr. Kelsey Busken (David Hurst), Kara Bischoff (Brad), Tricia Clement (Ryan), Lindsay Allmeyer (Bryan), Danny Wiele (Jackie), Tommy Wiele (Kelsi), Courtney Cole (Jacob), Brad Kuhl, Brittany Fallert (Chas) and Jamie Walsh; and his great grandchildren, Sidney, Miles Kuhl, Evie, Eleanor, Charlotte Harvey, Madison Busken, Hudson, Ryder, Isla Clement, Derek, Easton, Brylin Allmeyer, Jocelyn, Julianna, Janalynn, Jaxson Wiele, Grayson, Collins Wiele, Gibson Cole, Calianna and Cameryn Fallert. He is also survived by his family and he loved having his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
