He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton Leroy and Thela Ruth Hood; his son Michael Hood; and his brother Raymond Hood. He is survived by: his spouse Aizhen Yang; his children, Teresa DeGuire (Charlie), Jo-Anna Moscati (John) and Yi Ding (Yang Liu); his daughter-in-law Mary Hood; his grandchildren, Jacob Hood (Kelly), Abagail Gamache (Brendan), Jonathan Lambert (Liz), Arielle Strickland (Bobby), Johnny Moscati, Katie Moscati, Alek Ding, Alan Ding and Zola Ding; his great grandchild Hawke Hood; and his sibling Porter Gene Hood.
