He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Buehrig and Mary Edith Tumulty; his siblings, Elmer, Robert, Eugene, Donald Buehrig and Lorraine April; his grandchild Thomas Camacho; and his son-in-law Mike Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Buehrig; his children, Linda Camacho (Mark), James Buehrig, Jr. (Nanc), Diana Miller, Sandi Nelson (Victor) and Stephen Buehrig (Tina); and his siblings, Thomas Buehrig and Patricia Pyeatt. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
