Though Gladys Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gladys Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude S. Jones Sr. and Vesta Cloe Jones (Collier); and her daughter Janet Irene Johnston. She is survived by: her children, George Raymond Johnston Jr. (Maylene) of Breckenridge, Earnest Richard Johnston (Jeanette) of Marshfield and Linda Louise Shipley (Henry) of Breckenridge, Missouri; and her sister Mildred Ruby Litton of Lock Springs, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great granddaughter.
