With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velma M. Watson of Braymer, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Velma left this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Earl and Opal Cecil (Wilson); her husband David Watson; her son Barry Keith Watson; and her siblings, Virginia Lampkin and Daniel Cecil.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Watson of Braymer, MO and Robert Scott Watson (Kathy) of Joplin, MO; her granddaughters, Elise Stieferman (Connor) of St. Louis, MO, Emily Reynolds (Drew) of Joplin, MO and Sadie Watson (Trevor Gibson) of Braymer, MO; and her great grandchildren, Calvin, Peyton, Barrett and Skyler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery - Gallatin Corner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hillcrest Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
