He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis and Mary Ella Mace Lewis; his stepfather Ralph Willard; and his siblings, Tom Lewis and Mary Minnis.
He is survived by: his spouse Marti Crookshank August; his children, Rick Lewis (Sherri) of Dawn and Kim Tipton (Lance) of Jefferson City; and his grandchildren, Justin Lewis of Mooresville, Briana Lewis of Dawn, Terian Tipton of Jefferson City and Mike Crookshank of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
