He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Thate and Louise Thate (Schieffman); his wife Helen Thate (Bradshaw); his daughters, Shyre LeClare (Jim) of Chillicothe and Lisa Brooke (Mike) of Braymer, Missouri; his grandchildren, Amanda Neill (James) of Holden, Jessie Sanders (PJ) of Parnell and Jacob Brooke (Chauncey) of Braymer, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Joshua Neill, Taylor, Hayden Sanders, Maggie and Brody Brooke; and his stepgrandchildren, Dakota and Charlene Neill.
