He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kelly and Alberta Kelly (Chrisman). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sons, Christopher Kelly (Connie) of Normal, David Kelly of The Colony, Joseph Kelly of Columbus and Scott Kelly of Lutherville; and his stepdaughter Jennifer Eyre of Palm Desert, California.
