He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Jacobsen and Rose Jacobsen (Krenn); his sons, Kenneth Jacobsen of Tampa and Richard Jacobsen (Cathy) of Valparaiso, Indiana; and his stepchildren, Michelle Strauss (Richard) of Staunton, Richard Clousing (Tammy) of Munster and Pamela Dooley (Brian) of Highland, Indiana. He was also cherished by nine step-grandchildren.
