The memory of John Cantrell (Branson, Missouri), born in Hartville, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Emilie Cantrell; his parents, Ula Cantrell and Nellie Cantrell; and his great grandchildren, Elliana, Liliana Lay and Tavis Norby.
He is survived by: his children, Nan Clark (Tom Clark) of Omaha, AR, Bonnie Wright (Dean Wright) of Cedar Creek, MO, Christie Hall (Loran Hall, Jr.) of Taneyville, MO and Wade Cantrell (Michael Cantrell) of Walnut Shade, MO; and his brother Bob Matthews (Nancy Matthews) of Kissee Mills, MO. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren as well as extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory (1638 State Hwy 76, Branson, MO 65616). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
To honor John's memory, the family has requested that donations be made to the Victor Baptist Church, P. O. Box 635, Branson, MO 65615.
